Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026 · Last updated August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Zyncli (“Zyncli,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit zyncli.com, create an account, upload source material, build a visual Skill, or generate illustrations.
1. Data controller
Zyncli is operated by RuiBin Yang from Hong Kong, China. The operator is responsible for privacy-related matters concerning the service. Privacy requests and other questions can be sent to support@zyncli.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
- Content and project data: article text, titles, visual briefs, style instructions, prompts, project settings, and feedback.
- Brand and reference material: logos, VI or brand guides, images, PDFs, written rules, and other files used to build private visual Skills.
- Generated content: illustrations, versions, downloads, and associated generation metadata.
- Communications: messages and files you send through support or contact channels.
Information collected automatically
We may collect device and browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, request timestamps, referring pages, product events, error logs, security signals, and usage records such as credits reserved or consumed. We use this data to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the service.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, referral sources, devices, locations, link clicks, and form interactions. Ahrefs Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or persistent identifiers by default. It may process an IP address and user-agent information to calculate a daily pseudonymous visitor value, then discards the raw IP address rather than storing it.
Billing information
Paid transactions are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Zyncli receives transaction and subscription records needed to activate plans, apply credits, provide support, and reconcile refunds. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide accounts, projects, private Skills, generation, storage, and downloads;
- analyze source material and send necessary inputs to the selected text or image provider;
- process subscriptions, credits, cancellations, refunds, and service communications;
- prevent abuse, investigate incidents, enforce our Terms, and protect users and the service;
- measure reliability, fix errors, and improve the product; and
- comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.
Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. AI processing and private Skills
To perform a requested operation, Zyncli may send the relevant article excerpt, visual brief, style specification, prompt, or reference image to an active model provider. Our provider adapter currently supports OpenAI, Fal, and Replicate, and the active provider may change based on availability or product configuration.
Private Skills, source files, and generated results are private by default and are not published in the public template library unless you explicitly ask us to publish them. We do not sell your uploaded content. We do not use private brand files to create a public template for other users without your permission.
Zyncli does not use your private source files, article content, prompts, private Skills, or generated results to train or fine-tune Zyncli models. Model providers receive only the inputs needed to perform the operation you request and process them under their applicable business or API terms.
5. When we share information
We share information only as needed with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including authentication, database hosting, infrastructure, private object storage, model inference, payment processing, traffic analytics, and security. Current infrastructure may include Kinde, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Fal, Replicate, Creem, and Ahrefs.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a merger or sale of the service, or when you direct us to do so. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Storage, security, and retention
Uploaded source files and generated originals are stored in private object storage and accessed through authenticated or time-limited links. We use access controls, encrypted transport, secret management, and operational logging designed to protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to provide recovery, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Support, billing, security, and transaction records may be retained longer when required. You may request account or project deletion, subject to necessary legal and security retention.
7. International data transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where data-protection law requires it, we use recognized transfer mechanisms or other safeguards provided by our vendors.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
California residents may have rights to know, correct, and delete personal information and to opt out of sale or sharing. Zyncli does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request, email support@zyncli.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We aim to respond within 30 days, subject to any different period required by applicable law.
9. Cookies
Zyncli currently uses cookies and similar storage that are necessary for authentication, security, and core service operation. Ahrefs Web Analytics operates without analytics cookies by default. We do not currently use advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
10. Children
Zyncli is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product, providers, or law changes. We will post the revised version here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
12. Contact
Privacy questions, rights requests, and general support requests can all be sent to support@zyncli.com.
